Tips for a code that scans first time
- Use dark code on a light background. Black or dark blue on white scans best.
- Print at least 2 × 2 cm, and larger if people will scan from a distance.
- Keep a clear white border around the code. The generator adds one by default.
- Test with two or more phones before you print in bulk.

Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. Codes made here are static. The data is encoded in the pattern itself, so the code keeps working for as long as the linked content exists.
Why won't my code scan?
Usually the code is too small, the contrast is too low, the logo is too big, or it is blurry. Print at least 2 × 2 cm, keep it dark on light, and test with your phone before printing.
Is my data stored?
The code is generated in your browser. The text you type and any logo you upload are not sent to our servers to create it.
